The Challenge
The clinic was tracking inventory on paper and in spreadsheets, which meant stock counts were often wrong and expired medication was not being caught reliably. Dispensing was slow because pharmacists had to search through files to find patient history and verify prescriptions — creating queues and increasing the chance of errors.
The Solution
We built a system that handles inventory in real time — scanning stock in and out, tracking batch numbers and expiry dates, and sending alerts when levels get low or items are approaching expiry. Pharmacists can pull up a patient's full prescription history instantly at the point of sale, and the dispensing interface is designed to be fast enough for a busy counter environment.
